In this board, a writer starts a story off with a character of their own. The starter of the story will introduce a place, time, and something that is going on.
Then, another person continues the story with a character of their own and writes about any event that occurs within the story. This writer can have their character interact with the character of the first writer.
When writing, you are writing in the perspective of third person. This means that you would know only what the character knows.
Characters can communicate to each other when the both of them notice each other during the story. This includes either attacking, calling out to another character, or even both of them staring each other down. These are ways to encounter other characters.
You can NOT make OTHER characters say stuff or move. But if a character is like "attached" to you, you can get it off. You can have fights with them if you like. Do not close the fight out unless both of the writers have responded with their character.
The time of the story has to be consistent, but the location does not. Stories could have two different things going on and then they encounter the characters that they have not met yet. Entering a story with the starting word "MEANWHILE" works.
Introduce your character with other character to learn there name. Your character shouldn't know the name of other character.
Example:
Writer 1: In a different dimension, there was major war going on. Johnny, a Neutral Citizen found himself in the crossfire between these two forces.
Writer 2: All of a sudden Mikee attacks a group of Neutral warriors. Mikee's men are also firing on this group of men.
(From here, writer 1 can respond or a third writer can enter here).
